Looking for a dependable and talented partner? Meet Sully, a sweet, unregistered Thoroughbred gelding who has done a little bit of everything with his adult amateur owner. From hunter paces to starter-level eventing and trail riding, Sully has proven himself to be a versatile mount ready for his next chapter.

This well-schooled boy is a joy on the flat and a “point-and-shoot” type jumper with a nearly automatic lead change. Sully is also brave on the trails and cross-country, making him a dependable partner for hacking out and facing new challenges. He has seen cattle, crosses water, leads/follows, and hacks out alone.

Though still green for his age, Sully is suitable for an adult amateur or junior rider with some experience—he’s not for a complete beginner. He’s an easy keeper and could go any direction: from a steady trail mount or flat horse to a competitive sporthorse in dressage, eventing, hunters, or jumpers.

Rapid Dan

Dan is a beloved school horse of RES and has been in the family since he came off the track. He has been trusted to teach riders their first steps to their first canter to their first jump. He is worth his weight in gold! He has been on hunter paces and schooling shows. Dan does have a couple quirks but easy to work with for all levels. Top home is priority. We all love Dan but unfortunately not needing his services in our lesson program any longer and he deserves to continue having all the attention (and treats!) he deserves!

The Moose Express

Moose is such a sweet cuddly guy. He came off the track during Covid in 2019 and honestly hasn’t done much since. He is a happy, easy going guy that aims to please. He’s an out of shape pasture puffy right now but really won’t take much for someone to get him going. Moose has three nice gaits and very green to jumping but willing and has a cute jump. He has the personality and temperament to be a great junior or amateurs horse.

Don’t let her age fool you, she is more than ready to work and loves attention! Lily had a great racing career before being a broodmare. Her last foal was a few years ago and she’s has been in my lesson program this summer. She is a fun, comfortable, straightforward ride on the flat and enjoys popping over all types of jumps. She hacks out alone and in groups. Lily would ideally like someone with a soft hand but is otherwise very “motherly” and aims to please. She is currently in four shoes but has good feet. She has phenomenal ground manners and hauls like a pro, hopping off the trailer like it’s just another day in the life of being fabulous Lily.
